PASADENA, Texas – The Houston Business Journal has named San Jacinto College as the top-rated Houston-area trade school and technical college. The ranking was based on information obtained from Niche.com, a trusted data provider known for its analysis of educational institutions across the United States. Niche.com utilizes a rigorous methodology, drawing upon public information and reviews to produce accurate and insightful rankings, report cards, and profiles for K-12 schools, colleges, and neighborhoods.

San Jacinto College offers more than 200 certificate and degree programs, including a bachelor of science in nursing, a new bachelor of applied science in early childhood education and a bachelor’s degree in information technology with an emphasis in cybersecurity. For that reason, San Jac adopted a simplified tuition model, which means students don’t pay hidden fees – just one low rate for their whole tuition. The College’s tuition rate for students who live in the College District is $83 per credit hour – for a total of $2,490 for 30 credit hours.
