An Insiders Guide to Campus Tours

Guests

Because space is limited, each student may bring only one guest. If you need to bring more than one guest, please contact a tour specialist in advance to discuss your request.

Arrival Time

We encourage you to arrive 5 – 10 minutes before your scheduled campus tour so we can begin on time. If you arrive 15 minutes or more after your scheduled tour time, we may need to reschedule your tour.

Accessibility

If you or your guest need accommodations or have special needs, please note this when you fill out the tour request form.

Expectations

Please follow your tour guide’s directions and help us take care of our campus. Be respectful of our buildings, grounds, and classes in session. During the tour, please put away cell phones, AirPods, and other electronic devices. You and your guests are responsible for any damage to campus property during your visit.

Weather

We encourage you and your guests to wear comfortable shoes. Also, wear weather-appropriate clothing since the tour may go outside. Please be sure to bring water as well.

If inclement weather occurs or the campus is closed, please see what to do regarding tour cancellations.

Scheduling

Please submit your campus tour request at least one week before your visit so we have time to plan your tour.

An Insider’s Guide to Group Tours

Group Size

We limit group tours to 60 participants, not including chaperones. Larger groups may need special tour support. Arrangements will be considered case-by-case. We will do our best to accommodate your group but cannot guarantee availability. If your group is larger than 60, please contact our tour specialists to discuss your request.

Chaperone Expectations

Please plan to have one chaperone for every 10 students. Chaperones should stay with their group throughout the visit. This includes during the walking tour. We also ask chaperones to help students follow campus guidelines and address any behavior concerns that come up.

Accessibility

If anyone in your group needs accommodations or has special needs, please note this when you fill out the tour request form.
