This certificate prepares you for the degree program or to advance your current career. Help drive the future of cancer management in a certificate program designed to teach you all aspects of the cancer registry, including survey processes, data collection, oncology coding, staging, and reporting. A two-year associate degree is required to apply for the Advanced Technical Certificate.

Looking back, Roland realizes none of his hurdles were insurmountable. Pivoting to a new field and searching job listings again might have seemed a “harrowing task.” But once he found San Jac’s cancer data management program, everything fell into place.

Today, Roland wakes up excited to work. Not only does he learn something new each day, but he’s helping cancer researchers take one step closer to a cure. When the door closed on engineering, Roland says God clearly opened a new one.
