Love dancing, but also teaching? Turn your passions into a career with a Dance instructor, certificate of technology.
Learn the problem-solving and critical thinking skills needed along with computer-aided-design knowledge to be successful in the engineering field.

Making major strides in biotechnology, San Jac broke ground on its Center for Biotechnology
at the Generation Park Campus and cut the ribbon for the biomanufacturing training program at the South Campus. The College is the exclusive provider of the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training in the southern U.S. The program will meet workforce needs through an Associate of Applied Science degree in biomanufacturing technology and shorter credentials for post-graduates.

San Jac students and alumni made history by working on Odysseus, the first commercial
spacecraft to land on the moon Feb. 22. Intuitive Machines’ IM-1 lunar lander is also
the first U.S.-built craft to touch down on the moon since NASA's final Apollo mission
in 1972.
San Jac’s EDGE Center and Intuitive Machines partner to give students the skills and experience to stand out in today's job market.

The Central Campus steel band and South Campus dance program collaborated on the concert Dancing on Steel — performed at the Central Campus Slocomb Auditorium and Miller Outdoor Theatre in early May. The suite of six steel band pieces and choreographed dances reflected Trinidad and Tobago’s West African origins, ranging from wedding/funeral
traditions, the limbo, calypso, and more.
July 2024
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges has granted full accreditation for the new Bachelor of Applied Technology in information technology with an emphasis in cybersecurity, which launched in fall 2024. This accreditation affirms that students will receive rigorous training for this high-demand field.

San Jac will launch its newest campus, San Jac Online, in fall 2025 with Dr. Ken Tidwell as its chief officer for online learning.
