PASADENA, Texas – The San Jacinto College Board of Trustees have announced the process to fill the vacant Position 5 seat on the Board. The Board of Trustees will appoint a qualified individual to serve until the term expires in May 2027.
Those who wish to be considered for the San Jacinto Community College District Board of Trustees must meet all of the following requirements:

The application for appointment and appointment timeline can be found on the San Jacinto College Board of Trustees website. The location for submitting an application in person or by mail is the San Jacinto Community College District Administration Building located at 4624 Fairmont Parkway, Suite 200, in Pasadena. Applications will be accepted during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications will also be accepted by email.
Elections for the San Jacinto College Board of Trustees occur every two years, in odd numbered years. The Board is elected in numbered at-large positions, 1 through 7, and serve six-year terms. Voters in the following school districts elect the seven San Jacinto Community College District Trustees: La Porte, Deer Park, Pasadena, Galena Park, Channelview, Sheldon, and portions of Clear Creek, Pearland and Humble.
