Entrepreneur, AAS

Technical Degree
The Associate of Applied Science degree prepares you for an entry-level career. Combine classroom learning with on-the-job experience to gain the skills and know-how to start your own business, or advance in your current job.
Length 2 Years
If you're studying full-time, you can complete the 60 credits for this program in four terms.

Entrepreneur, Certificate of Technology

Certificate
The Certificate of Technology prepares you for the degree program, an entry-level career, or advancement in your current career. Learn the basics of entrepreneurship in a practical, comprehensive way.
Length 6 Months
If you're studying full-time, you can complete the 30 credits for this certificate in two terms.

Entrepreneur, Level 2 Certificate

Certificate
The Level 2 Certificate prepares you for the degree program, an entry-level career, or advancement in your current career. The program requires a practicum experience to take your learning outside the classroom and try your skills in real life.
Length 1.5 Years
If you're studying full-time, you can complete the 45 credits for this certificate in three terms.

Your professors will guide you through the process of writing your own formal business plan, and help you develop tactics for putting it in action.

Gain Core Entrepreneurial Soft Skills

Enhance your leadership, management, and organizational skills by learning to think on your feet, collaborate effectively with others, and establish efficient business operations.

Turn Ideas Into Reality

Learn how to plan, organize, staff, and lead your business by studying effective communication techniques. These skills will be essential for purchasing, production control, and marketing. 
Entrepreneur Student

Learn Through Doing

If you're pursuing a degree or certificate in business entrepreneurship, you'll need to complete a practicum as part of your training. The practicum combines classroom learning with on-the-job training to help you develop your managerial skills. You'll need to work at least 20 hours per week in an approved position. Before you start, you, your employer, and the business management coordinator will agree on a plan that outlines what you'll learn and how you'll demonstrate your skills at work.
