The annual Mind Trekkers STEM festival is one of San Jacinto College’s largest STEM outreach initiatives. Nearly 6,000 sixth graders attend this two-day event that features interactive science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities and demonstrations.
With the help of more than 250 college employees and industry volunteers, Mind Trekkers is held at the San Jacinto College LyondellBasell Center for Petrochemical, Energy, and Technology (CPET).
The daytime activities are reserved for school fieldtrips while the Mind Trekkers Family Night event welcomes families from across the Houston area. Family Night features the same fun activities as the daytime events, allowing families to enjoy a unique STEM experience together.
Best of all, Family Night is open to all ages and free to the public!
