Scholarships are awarded by a wide variety of institutions, businesses, and generous individuals. Each scholarship has its own specific application requirements, so there could be one that's a perfect match for you.
Some scholarships require an essay, so you'll want to plan a little extra time to make yours perfect. We know essays aren't easy so we've provided these helpful tips to get you started. Please know that A.I. generated essays are not accepted.

and incoming students are eligible and encouraged to apply.
Search scholarship opportunities
Fall application cycle: February 15 - July 30
Fall priority deadline: April 15
Spring application cycle: September 1 - October 30
Based on your eligibility, you need to complete either the FAFSA or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). Use our FAFSA Code: 003609.
Fill out one application for all scholarships! Our system will automatically match you to the scholarships you qualify for.
Some scholarships will require additional information or a separate application. Read the requirements thoroughly to ensure your application is complete.
The Financial Aid Office handles and processes all scholarships. This includes San Jac Foundation, athletic, departmental, and private scholarships. If you received a San Jac Foundation scholarship, you can view those details on the Academic Works website.
