Ravens baseball, softball teams earn academic honors

PASADENA, Texas – Twenty-two San Jacinto College baseball and softball athletes earned National Junior College Athletic Association Region XIV All-Academic honors for the 2025-26 season, while eight Ravens softball players also received National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Scholar Athlete recognition.

Student-athletes must earn at least a 3.25 GPA over 24 credit hours to qualify for the Region XIV All-Academic Team. The following Ravens earned Region XIV All-Academic honors:

In addition, eight Ravens softball players earned NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete honors, recognizing excellence in the classroom and on the field.

This year, more than 13,000 student-athletes from 31 programs nationwide earned NJCAA Academic Team of the Year honors after achieving the highest GPA in their respective sport during the academic year. The NJCAA All-Academic program also recognized these San Jac athletes:
