Rachel Asigri
About Me
I grew up in Ghana where I earned a Bachelor of Science in natural resources management. I am San Jac certified with an Associate of Applied Science in occupational health and safety. I also hold a Master of Science in environmental management. I love Mexican food; my favorite is carne guisada which I learnt to make so I can have it whenever I want. My peers tell me I am picky, but I think I just like what I like! I love to read in my spare time; I am currently on a murder-mystery phase and hooked on J.D Robb. I recently acquired a sewing machine with the hopes of learning how to sew. Wish me luck and be kind when you see me in my own designs.

My Student Advice
Think positive and be positive; I have this posted in my office to remind myself and
my students. Life happens and our goals and plans may not go in the direction we want
or according to the timeline we set for ourselves. That is okay; make the necessary
adjustments and stay positive in the belief that everything will work out for the
best. As Program Advisors, we are here to help you figure it out and get back on track.
