About the Course

Get ready for your FAA drone certification test with a two-day prep course. You’ll learn material such as the basic principles of flight, laws, safety, weather, aerodynamic principles, and airspace associated with unmanned flight.

Per FAA Title 14, Part 107.61 Eligibility: Must be at least 16 years of age.  Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.

Drone Flight Operations Course 

In this course, the student will learn about basic principles of flight operations, basic laws/regulations associated with unmanned flight, and factors that affect flight. 

Prerequisites: Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title  14, Part 107.61. Per Part 107.61 and have a FAA Part 107 license or completed the FAA part 107 test prep course.

Advanced Drone Flight Operations Course 

In this course, the student will learn about advanced principles of flight operations, laws/regulations associated with unmanned flight, and factors that affect flight. 

Prerequisites: Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title  14, Part 107.61. Per Part 107.61 and have completed the FAA part 107 test prep course and the Drone Flight Operations Course.

Advanced Drone Topics Course

This course follows Advanced Flight Operations.  It goes further into depth and prepares students for specialized operations with cameras, sensors, and other add-ons. 

Prerequisites: Must meet the requirements listed in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title  14, Part 107.61. Per Part 107.61 and have completed the FAA part 107 test prep course, Drone Flight Operations Course and the Advanced Flight Operations course.
