Your Exclusive Training Provider
San Jacinto College has partnered with the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT), making San Jac the exclusive provider of NIBRT-licensed training in the southern part of the United States. The training program offers regional biomanufacturing training for trainees quickly, safely, and for a lower cost.
San Jac is a key member of the NIBRT Global Partner Programme, including partners across four continents. The program supports an international alliance of leading training and education organizations to help address the global shortage of a skilled biopharma workforce. Through NIBRT's program, qualified organizations are enabled to license NIBRT’s expertise, curriculum and intellectual property to provide biomanufacturing training and education capability in their region.

Theory-based, 1-day course offered both online and face-to-face
- Introduction to biopharmaceuticals and bioprocessing
- Overview of upstream processing
- Introduction to downstream processing
- Introduction to fill finish or facility design or introduction to cell/gene therapy
- Interactive tour of NIBRT facility and/or the San Jac Center for Biotechnology
- Contamination control, regulatory overview, or cleanroom disciplines and owning
