Effective December 4, 2025, Senate Bill 8 requires all Texas public institutions to designate multi-occupant restrooms and similar facilities based on biological sex. San Jacinto College remains committed to upholding this law while fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students, employees, and visitors.
All Texas public institutions of higher education must designate every multi-occupant restroom, locker room, shower, and similar private space under their control as exclusive to biological females or biological males beginning December 4, 2025.
